What we collect
We only collect what we need to reply to you and do the work you ask for. This may include:
- your name, email address, phone number and business name
- what you tell us about your project, such as the services you are interested in and your goals
- information you share with us while we work together, such as website logins, content and brand files
How we collect it
The enquiry form on this website does not store anything on our server. It puts your details into an email in your own email app, and nothing is sent until you choose to send it.
We also collect information when you email or call us, meet with us, or become a client.
How we use it
We use your information to reply to enquiries, prepare quotes, deliver and support our services, send invoices and keep business records. We do not sell or rent personal information.
If we ever send newsletters or marketing emails, we will only do so with your consent, and every email will include a simple way to unsubscribe.
Who we share it with
We only share information where it is needed to do our job or where the law requires it. This includes the trusted services we use to run the business, such as our website and email host (Hostinger), and accounting and productivity software.
Some of these providers may store information outside Australia. We choose reputable providers and only share what is necessary.
Cookies and website data
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not currently use analytics tools that track individual visitors. Our fonts are hosted on our own server, so no visitor data is sent to font providers. Our web host keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses and pages requested, for security and to keep the site running.
If we add analytics or similar tools in the future, we will update this policy first.
Keeping your information safe
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. These include secure accounts, two-step sign-in where available, and limiting access to people who need it. We delete or de-identify information when we no longer need it.
Accessing or correcting your information
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it. Email us and we will respond within 30 days.
Questions and complaints
If you have a question or concern about privacy, email us at hello@k2ascent.com.au and we will work with you to resolve it.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated.
